March 2005 saw a (day)dream come true… i traveled to barcelona for the dead can dance concert. i used the opportunity to visit barcelona for a week, then paris, amsterdam and berlin for a few days using the global interrail (www.interrailnet.com/) train pass.

Some notes on the DCD CD’s… if you’re a dcd addict, you probably know that they recorded each concert and published a limited edition 2 CD set (500) of each concert. well… having bought the beautiful tour booklet (15 Euros), I expected a similar CD (for the 30 Euros). The Jewl case doesn’t do enough… the 2 CD’s are stored on top of oneother; the cover - just a sheet of paper - is (i think) printed. There are no photos, no artwork… less is not always more… I would have preferred a paper sleeve. Nevertheless, the quality of the recordings is outstanding.
